MacPherson Park showcases Modcon Solutions’ ability to deliver precision-engineered modular infrastructure within an active community sporting environment.

Positioned along the boundary of a live oval and adjacent to an established pavilion, this elevated two-level facility was designed to enhance match-day operations and viewing capability while integrating seamlessly into the existing precinct. Delivered using an offsite modular methodology, the structure was manufactured in a controlled environment and installed efficiently onsite, significantly reducing disruption to park operations.

The result is a durable, contemporary building that provides clear sightlines across the oval, robust internal finishes and long-term performance suited to high-traffic sporting use.

MacPherson Park required a new elevated viewing and operations facility within a functioning sporting precinct. The site was constrained by boundary fencing, light towers, existing pathways and nearby community buildings. Construction needed to occur with minimal disruption to park users and scheduled sporting activities.

The structure also required elevated viewing capability, durability in an exposed outdoor environment and compliance with public infrastructure standards.

Modcon Solutions delivered a purpose-built modular facility constructed offsite and craned into position with precision. By relocating the majority of construction activities to a controlled factory environment, we reduced onsite works, improved quality assurance and enhanced safety outcomes.

The two-level design incorporates a sheltered ground-level area and an elevated enclosed viewing room with expansive glazing overlooking the oval. Robust materials, including steel stair access and durable internal finishes, ensure longevity in a demanding public setting.

From early consultation and design coordination through to fabrication, delivery and final commissioning, MacPherson Park was delivered through a fully integrated modular process.

Detailed planning addressed site logistics, cranage positioning and safe access within the sporting grounds. Collaboration with stakeholders ensured the structure aligned with operational requirements and community expectations.

The finished facility now sits confidently within the precinct, complementing the existing pavilion while providing enhanced functionality and elevated sightlines across the field.
